Fort George Brewery announces Lupulin Ecstasy Festival

Between MillerCoors and ABInbev lawsuits, Fort George Brewery has found time to plan a new beer festival called Lupulin Ecstacy. In celebration of their super popular annual collaboration release of 3-Way IPA, the Lupulin Ecstasy festival brings back past and present 3-Way collaborators for an event at Astoria, Oregon's the Flavel Mansion on Saturday, May 25th 2019. More from a press release:Journey to a mystical realm, where the skies are filled with wonder and fields burst in a glorious green. Tour the grand history of Astoria as you wander the halls of the Flavel Mansion. Expand your hop-perception sipping lupulin delights in the Flavel Garden, with an assortment of fanciful creations from all of the 3-Way IPA collaboration breweries throughout the years. Then, explore the grounds to discover a carefully curated collection of live music, special attractions, and street tacos. Fort George cordially invites you to a festival of Lupulin Ecstasy.  SEASON FOR FRIENDSHIPIt’s a magical time of year on the North Coast. Astorians are rolling out their barbecues, pulling on their warmer weather hoodies, and getting together with friends to collaborate on fresh summer seasonals. 3-Way IPA is on the way, this year with our good buddies from Cloudburst and Ruse. And to really mark the occasion with maximum friendship, we’re inviting all of our 3-Way IPA friends together in a celebration of Lupulin Ecstasy. Tickets to Lupulin Ecstasy are on sale now. Your purchase grants you admission to Lupulin Ecstasy attractions & live performances, a festival glass & eight tasting tickets, access to fest beers sprinkled around the grounds, and entry into the Captain George Flavel Mansion for the day. Plus, don’t forget those tacos. MANSION GROUNDSThe Flavel Museum is a classic Queen Anne style home, sitting in downtown Astoria at the foot of 8th Street. Constructed in 1885 by Captain George Flavel, a river pilot and Astoria’s first millionaire, the house and grounds are now owned and operated by the Clatsop County Historical Society. George was a great supporter of Astoria and lavish parties, much like Fort George. THE CAUSEA portion of the ticket price will go to the Clatsop County Historical Society, supporting the Uppertown Firefighter’s Museum, the Heritage Museum, and the Flavel House. More information can be found at www.cumtux.org.  ECSTASYSpecial selections will be pouring from all of our 3-Way IPA friends - Gigantic, Lompoc, Block 15, Boneyard, Georgetown, pFriem, Melvin, Barley Brown’s, Reuben’s Brews, Great Notion, Holy Mountain, Modern Times, Ruse, Cloudburst, and Fort George. And 3-Way IPA (2019) will make its debut for the summer. Each ticket holder will receive a tasting glass and 8 tasting tickets. Pours are all 6-ounces.
