Final Draft Taphouse 2nd Anniversary Collaboration with Brothers Cascadia is a Rad Pop

Final Draft Taphouse is prepared to celebrate what some might call the 'raddest' anniversary ever. Final Draft Taphouse has become a premiere taproom in Vancouver, Washington and is highly regarded throughout the greater Portland area.

In just 2 short years, Mike Bolt and Kimberly Johnson have created a community pub that has spawned social groups like the Couve Brew Bevy for beer-lovin' ladies, Ukes in the Couve for aspiring musicians, The Write-in for creative writers, and the Draft Society - an elevated mug club that gathers its membership monthly for parties.

Inside the pub and out in the community, the couple has helped raise the bar in SW Washington by cultivating community, friendship and... well... radness.

To celebrate their 2nd Anniversary, Final Draft's staff collaborated with local favorite Brothers Cascadia Brewing on a new beer that will be released on draft and in cans. The new beer carries a lot of meaning for Bolt and Johnson as they count down the days to their August 10th wedding date.

The can art was designed by Jeremy Backer, the designer and marketing manager at Ex Novo - the place where Mike and Kim met while Kim worked at the non-profit brewery. The beer itself being brewed at Brothers Cascadia is significant since the local brewery has shared a lot of growth and history with Final Draft, as both are embarking on their third trip around the sun together.

For anyone who's met Mike Bolt, the name Rad Pop comes as no surprise. Neither does the fact that this beer is a crushable pale ale with Idaho 7 and Mosaic hops. Light and hazy in color, its approachable aromas of pineapple, fresh berries and orange creamsicle suck you right into a low-bitterness gulper that finishes bright and ready for the next round. At 5.5% ABV, feel free to enjoy more than one.

You can enjoy Rad Pop first this Friday, July 26th at Final Draft Taphouse with a special Rad Pop Can Release Event from 6PM-9PM. The brewers and owners from Brothers Cascadia will be on hand to lend prizes and surprises to the celebration. "This beer was brewed with a huge THANK YOU in mind," shared Johnson. "To all of you who have supported us this past two years!"

The celebration continues at Final Draft on Saturday from 3PM-10PM with Christmas In July. This event is jam-packed with holiday-style activities and 15 vintage and barrel-aged beers on tap. Here's the schedule for the day's action:

3PM: Final Draft opens for Christmas in July and the good boys & girls (21+)
5PM-8PM: Presents! That means swag giveaways.
7PM-8PM: SANTA will be there! (I KNOW HIM!) Get a sweet pic.
8PM: CAKE! Because birthdays get cake.
8:30PM: Beermas Caroling with the Couve Brew Bevy! The holiday classics you thought you knew have been beer-ified by badass brew-loving ladies.

"This weekend is gonna be so rad," said Mike Bolt (probably).
