Level Beer's Anniversary release of Level Two and Brewer's Delight
Outer northeast Portland's Level Beer is celebrating their two year anniversary tomorrow, Saturday July 6th from 11am to 11pm. Level is releasing two new beers: a barrel-aged wine grape anniversary beer called Level Two, and Brewer's Delight, a hazy pale ale in 16oz cans. Level will also take this opportunity to celebrate the grand opening of a new barrel room event space.

Level Beer will release a spontaneously fermented ale aged in oak on Pinot Noir grapes as their “Level Two” anniversary beer. They will also release a Hazy Pale Ale. The event is family-friendly and will include a bouncy house, airbrush artist, special beer releases, a limited edition T shirt, music from DJ Switch, raffle prizes, cornhole, Kan Jam and more. Food will be available from Flor de Guelaguetza (Oaxacan), Bam Pow (American fare: burgers, wings), and Tidal Boar Foods (fresh oysters, poke, and ceviche).
Owners Geoff Phillips of Bailey’s Taproom, Shane Watterson, former head brewer of Laurelwood, and Jason Barbee, former head brewer of Ex-Novo cumulatively have decades of experience in the Oregon beer industry. Brewer owned and operated, it has quickly become a staple in NE Portland. Level Beer have received many accolades in the mere two years of business including Beervana’s 2018 beer of the year, one of the top can designs in the US in 2019, a nomination for USA Today’s best new brewery, and silver and bronze medals at the Oregon Beer Awards.
