West Coast Grocery 1st Anniversary Party
Southeast Portland's West Coast Grocery Co. is celebrating their 1st anniversary this Saturday, August 3rd, 2019. West Coast Grocery brewing experienced some early buzz for their slick space and award-winning brewer but stumbled with an employee harassment issue. Since then, the employee and the company made up and have even collaborated on beers. With new head brewer Christian Engstrom, a 12 year Bridgeport Brewing veteran, things seem back on track for West Coast Grocery.
"we couldn't have made it this far without all of your amazing support. From friends, family, distribution accounts, local breweries, local charities, staff, and our Buckman neighborhood...it takes a village! We're so proud of what we've built and the relationships we've made with all of you in this incredible first year of our business," wrote WCGco founder Charlie Hyde.
West Coast Grocery Co. 1 Year Anniversary Party will feature:
- a DJ spinning records starting at 6pm.
- 2 new release beers. Key-lime Cherry Milkshake IPA, & an 11% imperial coconut stout brewed especially for our anniversary
- Raffle give-aways on the hour.
- Every customer will get one throw on our shuffle board table in hopes of winning swag, crowlers, or gift cards.
- Christian Engstrom, brewmaster will be on site to chat about our beer and meet people
- Brewery tours with Brewmaster Christian Engstrom and Owners.
