Pike Brewing Celebrates 30th Anniversary Beers with Reunion IPA + $2.50 Pints

Pike drafts will revert to their original 1989 price point, stock up on new industry legends collaboration beer, drink-to-win a limited-edition sweatshirt, and more!

Washington's legacy of craft beer rests on Pike Brewing's shoulders and on October 17th, they celebrate 30 years in Seattle. Founded in 1989 by craft beer pioneers Charles and Rose Ann Finkel, Pike will revert to '89 prices for a day in celebration, they also have invited an impressive list of alumnis in for a reunion IPA. Pike Brewing Company is home to a gravity-flow steam-powered production brewery, in the heart of downtown Seattle’s Pike Place Market neighborhood.

Pike Reunion IPA

Last week, Pike Brewing welcomed back some old friends to help brew the first batch of Pike Reunion IPA. Brewed in honor of Pike’s 30th anniversary, this India Pale Ale is a collaboration of the minds of the company’s brewers, past and present. Featuring Pilsner malt from Skagit Valley Malting, Pike Reunion IPA is brewed with Centennial and dry-hopped with El Dorado and Warrior hops. The beer is fermented with Charlie’s First Bump yeast, a hybrid strain developed in honor of industry legend and Pike beer friend, Charlie Papazian. Expect a floral profile accented with notes of pineapple, grapefruit, and stone fruit. Look for Pike Reunion IPA to hit shelves in September and save the date to raise a glass at Pike Brewing on October 17 in celebration of the 30th.
