Gigantic Brewing releases Sodbusted VII and Squawkzilla Fresh Hop Ales

This year Gigantic Brewing (Portland, OR) is releasing two fresh hop beers in bottles - Sodbusted VII: The Simcoe Awakens fresh hop pale ale and Squawkzilla Collabo Fresh Hazy IPA. Sodbusted VII is available now on draft and in bottles with Squawkzilla dropping next week.

Sodbusted VII is brewed with fresh Simcoe hops from Sodbusted Farm in Oregon's Willamette Valley. This is part of an ongoing, annual fresh hop series with a movie naming theme. Each and every edition has used Simcoe hops from Sodbuster. Sodbusted VII has art by Rob Reger, is 5.5% ABV and 65 IBU's.

Squawkzilla is a collaboration with Bale Breaker Brewing in Yakima, Washington and uses hops from the family farm Loftus Ranches. This collaboration hazy IPA uses fresh Simcoe hops in the hop back and was dry-hopped with Simcoe, Citra and Ekuanot. Squakzilla has tropical flavors of tangerine, pineapple and mango and is 7.5% and 58 IBU's.
