El Segundo Brewing is back in Oregon
| El Segundo Brewing started sending beer to the Portland-area in 2016, but the supply quickly dried up. Beginning second week of November, El Segundo is back in Oregon via Day One Distribution. The Steve Austin aligned brewery is in the South Bay-area of Southern California and makes a popular beer called Broken Skull IPA with the popular ex-professional wrestler Austin. "We know its been a bit too long, so apologies," so writes El Segundo's Thomas Kelley. "Steve Austin kinda blew our brewery up over the summer. Good problems to have certainly, but don't love leaving y'all hanging without our super fresh hop bombs!" |
Broken Skull IPA
El Segundo's collaboration with Steve Austin, is now in cans and has been a hot seller. 16oz cans, 4-packs and draft are headed to Oregon with a release party scheduled 11/13 at Belmont Station in Portland. The brewery encourages buyers to put in orders now for a super fresh shipment of Broken Skull that drops around 11/8.
South Bay Bubble
A new collaboration from El Segundo Brewing with HopSaint Brewing of Torrance, California. South Bay Bubble is a West Coast IPA with Sultana hops (formerly Denali), Citra, Centennial, El Dorado, and Idaho 7. Pilsner malt keeps the color on this beer light and it has a small percentage of Maris Otter malt for subtle complexity. South Bay Bubble has loads of tropical and bright citrus flavors. South Bay Bubble is in cans but is draft-only for now in Oregon.
