Crux releases Tough Love Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout and Mountain Traffic Hoppy Red

Bend, Oregon's Crux Fermentation Project has released their annual vintage of Tough Love - their popular barrel-aged Imperial Stout. Part of the breweries [BANISHED] Series, this is the 7th year of Tough Love and it's returned with an updated label and in 500ml bottles.

Tough Love lives up to its name and reputation as we continue to construct it with dark roasted malts, malted rye, oak-smoked wheat, blackstrap molasses, and a few other spices before banishing it to Heaven Hills bourbon barrels. The aging process smooths out the edges on an otherwise bold statement, and bitterness succumbs to tender strokes of vanilla beans, hints of dried cherries, and new layers revealing themselves with each sip.
TOUGH LOVE | Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout | 11.5% ABV 70 IBU

Available throughout the Pacific Northwest this holiday season, including our tasting room where you can also pick up a past vintage or two.

MOUNTAIN TRAFFIC

After a fun day in the mountains, nothing sounds more satisfying than sharing a refreshing pint. And while that long line of brake lights heading back into town may slow your journey towards fulfillment, this hoppy and malt-forward red ale is well worth the wait – robust and bursting with rich, hop flavors and a balanced malt body this easy-drinking, apres-whatever winter refresher will have you seeing a different shade of red.
MOUNTAIN TRAFFIC | Hoppy Red Ale | 7.8% ABV, 50 IBU
