Fish Brewing Company - the makers of Fish Tale Ales, Leavenworth Biers, and Spire Mountain Cider has sold to new owners. The 26-year-old Olympia, Washington-based brewery/cidery operation has been purchased by husband and wife team Josh Carrigan and Kate Craig.

Both Josh Carrigan and Kate Craig were raised in the Puget Sound area in Issaquah and Yelm. Carrigan owns Seattle bar "Still Liquor" and Craig works in international business. The couple say they are excited to refresh a legacy brand with quality products and employees.

Carrigan and Craig are committed to working with the employees to build a roadmap for the future, centered on the Fish community.  While initially focusing on ramping up production and innovation to make more great beer and cider. They are eager to explore opportunities to work with South Puget Sound Community College’s Craft Brewing and Distillery Program and a local non-profit land trust.  They would like to explore the idea of tours of the brewery for the community and it’s visitors, and a lecture series based in the Fish Brew Pub.

A celebration of the new ownership and commitment to the future in a new era for the company is being planned for the Fish Brew Pub in the near future.
