Double Mountain 13th Anniversary Party & New Releases

Hood River, Oregon's Double Mountain Brewery is celebrating their 13th anniversary with their annual block party on Saturday, March 14th, 2020. As usual, music is a big part of the festivities and this year Dirty Revival is headlining the all-day party that begins at 11am, rounding out the lineup is The Quick and Easy Boys, Cascade Crescendo, Ashleigh Flynn & the Riveters and brewer Matt Coughlin's band The Night Farmers.

Four bars will be serving up a total of twenty eight different Double Mountain beers and ciders, with many of them from the brewers’ reserve. The souvenir mugs will be filled with half and full pours, creating a variety tasting options. Additionally, pizza by-the-slice will be available for quick eats. $5 admission for adults includes the souvenir mug; kids are welcome with a parent/guardian until 9pm.

In different but related news, Double Mountain has a new seasonal Dark Lager and three seasonal Ciders available now.

February is the perfect time for a dark lager. Not as big as a bock, but with light caramel roastiness that compliments this clean fully-aged lager that was cellared for three months at cave temperatures for smooooothness.
Now available at both taprooms and select locations around the Northwest.

Estate Heirloom Cider We pressed heritage apple varietals from our orchard and other small farms in the Hood River Valley to bring a bright Spring flavor to your front door. Delicate aromas of fresh apple blossoms and tart kiwi are balanced by a decidedly earthy finish. Now available in 500ml bottles in our taprooms and select locations across the Northwest.ABV 7%

Wickson Crab Cider Wickson is the apple we all deserve. Sweeter than most crab varietals and full of flavor, these little gems impart a distinct earthiness and incredible aromas of ripe honeydew and Meyer lemon. The finish? Pure prosecco. Turns out small apples can make a mighty big cider. Now available on tap at both locations.ABV 8.2%

Perry Cider The Hood River Valley produces some of the best pears in the world. We took advantage of our local resources and pressed Comice, Bosc, and Bartlett pears together for this Perry. And oh, is it sheer joy. Light aromas of honey, juicy pear, and green apple end in a delicately sweet, gracefully tart and crisp pear cider. Now available in 500ml bottles in our taprooms and select locations across the Northwest.ABV 6.2%
