Veneta, Oregon wants a brewery to call their own, and they are offering incentives. Established in 1912, Veneta is in Lane County near Eugene and has been the home of the Oregon Country Fair since 1969

Veneta is less than a half hour from Eugene and less than two hours drive from Portland. It's a fast growing city in Oregon that is investing in making their downtown a more vibrant location for residents and tourists.

"A craft brewery, brewpub, cidery, distillery, or winery is just the kind of centerpiece we want to add to Veneta’s thriving economy" says the Veneta government page.

Provided that the incoming fermentation business is in the incentive area, the city of Veneta is willing to provide design assistance, aesthetic development including improvements to the facade and infrastructure, a low loan rate buyback, reduced development fees, marketing assistance and redevelopment funding assistance.

The City of Veneta is accepting proposals for new or relocating fermentation businesses and providing gap loans or gap funding. That includes micro loans of $5,000 or business assistance loan up to $50,000.

The city also owns two properties in the downtown area that are possible development sites that will offer flexible terms to qualifying applicants.
