Georgetown Brewing Manny's Pale Ale released in cans

Georgetown Brewing in Seattle became Washington's second largest brewery largely due to the success of Manny's Pale Ale, now they will package that beer for the first time. 12oz cans and 6-packs of Manny's Pale Ale will be available for the first time ever, for a limited time, beginning Saturday, May 23rd from the brewery and the following week at Washington stores.

We figured leaving Manny’s Pale Ale as a draft-only beer would help us stay connected to the foundation of our business: the bars and restaurants that first served our beer. If you want a pint of Manny’s, you have to go out, be social, and support your local bar or restaurant, said Georgetown founders Manny Chao and Roger Bialous while announcing the news. For their first 14 years in business, Georgetown Brewing only sold draft beer, but it's a new Coronavirus world now.

100% of the profits from the sale of Manny’s Pale Ale cans will go to support bar and restaurant workers throughout the state of Washington. Keeping Manny's as a draft-only beer was Georgetown's way to stay connected to the foundation of their business, now it's time to keep those foundations intact by packaging it.

Donations will be made to Big Table in Seattle and Spokane, The Plate Fund, We Are Yakima fund, and other non-profit organizations helping to support employees in the food and beverage industry in Washington State.

Georgetown Brewing thanks Great Western Malting, Hollingbery & Son Hops, Hopsteiner, and Roy Farms for sourcing and donation of ingredients, or cash contributions to make this project happen. And to Crown Beverage and Packaging and WestRock for helping fast track it all. With wholesalers Columbia Distributing, Columbia Wenatchee, Crown Distributing, Midway Beverage, Pioneer Distribution, and Tripp Distributing helping get Manny's cans out there and donating all or a portion of profits.
