The inaugural Viking Beer Fest (co-sponsored by Loyal Legion) in 2022 was a big success, so it’s back in 2023 at double the size. The festival will go from one, to two days, with more Viking battle re-enactments, more cultural activities, more Nordic live music, more merchants, more food, and of course more beer. Loyal Legion beer hall’s annual tradition of pFriem Family Brewers (Hood River) tap takeover started as a friendsgiving and become an 11 day affair. This pFriemsgiving will take place at both Loyal Legion’s Portland beer hall and at the newish Beaverton location, featuring 45+ pFriem beers on while they last.
