Viking Beer Fest
The inaugural Viking Beer Fest (co-sponsored by Loyal Legion) in 2022 was a big success, so it’s back in 2023 at double the size. The festival will go from one, to two days, with more Viking battle re-enactments, more cultural activities, more Nordic live music, more merchants, more food, and of course more beer. Viking Beer Fest
Viking re-enactors, merchants, demonstrations, and historical and combat re-enactments with about 24 beers on tap at the historical grounds of Fogelbo - a log house and grounds full of walking trails and structures resembling a quaint Swedish Village.
Viking Beer Fest, is a brand new festival happening Saturday, August 20 at the Nordic Northwest campus including Fogelbo! This unique festival showcases the Timberhaven Vikings, a living history and reenactment group. The Vikings will be setting up historical demonstrations, merchants, and combat re-enactments. As night falls we will set up a small fire encampment with the Northwest Viking Alliance. The festival promises live music, even nordic food, mead, and aquavit, plus a small viking ship, and much, much, more.
