Von Ebert Brewing Opening Second Location at Glendoveer Golf Course
One of our most anticipated upcoming Oregon breweries, Von Ebert Brewing (which just opened in March), has announced it will open a second location in the former Ringside Grill at Glendoveer Golf Course in outer southeast Portland. The under-served outer eastside area is now home to Level Beer, and Von Ebert's new location will surely be a huge draw with golfers, families, and locals who don't have many craft beer options nearby. The Glendoveer location is expected to open in June, with brewing on a new JVNW 3.5bbl brewhouse beginning in September. With former The Commons Brewery head brewer Sean Burke behind the mash paddle, you can also expect a much more Belgian, farmhouse, sour, and wild brewing program, along with German lagers. The Glendoveer location will have multiple foudres, wine puncheons, barrels, and oak fruiting tanks, as well as a coolship for spontaneous, mixed culture, and sour beers.More from an announcement:The menu will cover everything from a Smoked Pork Belly Cubano to Whole Smoked Wings and a Bayonne Ham and Arugula Pizza. The menu will be similar to the Von Ebert location in the Pearl, but it will have a few surprises that are exclusive to the Glendoveer location. Located at 14021 NE Glisan Street right next to the Pro Shop of Glendoveer Golf Course, Von Ebert Brewing opens its doors with reimagined lodge-style décor. The building’s beautiful design will have a lodge theme and will sit on the 10th hole of Glendoveer golf course. The beautiful, full service bar, dining space, and two patios will seat about 250 all in, with both booth and table seating options to accommodate parties of all sizes including a private event space. Minors will be allowed throughout the location at all times. VON EBERT BREWING:Von Ebert Brewing sits at the crossroad where storied traditions meet bold new ideas in brewing.
