Reuben’s Brews launches Coffee, Cold Brew and beer with Kuma Coffee Roasters
Reuben's Brews in Seattle’s ballard neighborhood is extending their collaboration with local roasters Kuma Coffee. Coffee beers and collaborations with Kuma are not new, but their latest beer “Bear Mug” takes the ongoing series even further under the Reuben’s AM Brews program wherein special coffee blends used in the beers will be available for sale to the public.
"Bear Mug is a version of Reuben’s classic Robust Porter with the addition of a unique coffee blend featuring Kenyan and Honduran beans. Bear Mug is rich and roasty with an added layer of fruit sweetness from the Bear Mug coffee blend. Cans of Bear Mug are now available at Reuben’s Taproom and is heading out to distribution across the pacific northwest.
This blend of coffee beans used in Bear Mug was so tasty on it’s own that it inspired the launch of Reuben's AM Brews. The new coffee project featuring the same freshly roasted Kuma coffee Bear Mug blend that's featured in the beer will be available in 12oz bags alongside cans of Bear Mug beer.
And starting Monday 2/1 Reuben's AM Brews Bear Mug blend cold brew will be available at the Taproom on nitro and in cans to-go (can image attached).
On their blog, Reuben’s Brews founder Adam Robbings goes into detail on his ongoing home coffee bean roasting and all the long steps and process that went into creating Bear Mug and AM Brews, if you want to learn more https://reubensbrews.com/introducing-reubens-am-brews/
