Bend Brewing releases Sno’d In Winter IPA and Waist Deep Winter Ale

The latest from Bend, Oregon’s Bend Brewing Company is Sno’d In Winter IPA and Waist Deep Winter Ale. As we enter the holiday season winter warmers are beginning to flood the market, and in Oregon they tend to be slightly malty but just as hoppy. Bend Brewing is hitting both types of winter seasonal and releasing both in 16 oz cans available via Point Blank Distributing and Bigfoot Beverage.

More from a press release:

Sno’d In Winter IPA was conceived as a “more sessionable '' 6% ABV winter IPA that has great malt character and balance without muddling the hop flavor. BBC constructed Sno’d In around a base of 2-row and Golden Promise malt with light carastan and rye malt providing depth. Comet and Chinook Salvo in the whirlpool provide a clean pine and orange rind hop flavor while a double dry hop of Amarillo and Simcoe hops amp up the hop aroma.

Once again Sno’d In Winter IPA was brewed in collaboration with Bend based ski and snowboard company, SnoPlanks. BBC and SnoPlanks are kindred spirits with their shared dedication to handcrafted quality and love of the outdoors.

Sno’d In Winter IPA is available in draft and 16 oz cans now in Oregon and at BBC’s Downtown Bend brewpub on Friday October 29th. Also mark your calendars for the annual Sno’d In Party set for Friday December 3rd.

Bend Brewing Company is also excited to release Waist Deep Winter Ale in 16 oz cans as part of the brewery’s Pub Series. Waist Deep is the quintessential Northwest Winter Warmer with a full body loaded with plum, raisin and toffee flavors courtesy of a complex malt bill and English  yeast and hops. Waist Deep is available now through Point Blank Distributing and Bigfoot Beverages.
