Fort George Brewing’s Stout Month 2022 schedule brings the darkness
February just isn’t the same without Festival of the Dark Arts, but Fort George Brewery has a way for you to drown your sorrows into a never ending abyss with their 2022 Stout Month festivities. From 2/1 through 2/27 the Astoria, OR based Fort George Brewery will test their adage that “you can never have too many stouts on tap” during February which is also Oregon Craft Beer Month.
Fort George Brewery is promising dark food specials, dark desserts, dark guest beers, semi-dark lectures every Thursday night, Live music (questionably dark) on Sundays, and Guest Brewers from the four corners of the Pacific Northwest (varying degrees of darkness). They will even be working their arms out a little by pumping a few beers through the cask beer engine in the Taproom, from which ancient stouts will be gradually flowing. There will be blind taster trays, and Cavatica Stout Cheesecake, and even beer infused meats and fried foods. And of course there will be exclusive bottles of stouts to take home.
