Hood River Hard-Pressed Cider Fest 2022

Hood River Hard-Pressed Cider Fest

It’s been 3 years since we had a Hood River Hard-Pressed Cider Fest on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge. But the 7th annual festival is back this year, returning on April 30th to the Hood River Fairgrounds with more than 20 cideries on deck.

2022 looks to be a big comeback year for cider and associated events. Recently McMenamins Wassail Cider Fest returned, the NW Cider Symposium takes place this week in Tacoma, WA, and on June 10-11th the Cider Summit fest returns to Portland.

The daylong Hood River Hard-Pressed Cider Fest will feature atleast 2 flavors from each participating cidery, with 40 ciders on taps and an opportunity to try some of the smallest and most unique cideries in the state alongside some of the largest. The event gives seasoned and novice cider drinkers alike the chance to sample cider from Hood River County’s very own cider makers, as well as a variety of additional Northwest cideries.

Kids get in free and will have access to their own kids’ area! Plus, with a solid lineup of live music, there’s fun for the whole family at the Fairgrounds. The fest also features a lineup of local music and Spring showers aren’t a problem, as the tasting area takes place under a tent

Under 21, free entry.  Dog Sitting, provided by Kind Animal Services will be offered for a fee, outside the event.
