Northbank Beer Week Kicks Off in SW Washington
Yesterday marked the beginning of 10 days of beer events in SW Washington! You see, a "beer week" is longer than a normal 7-day week. It's 10 days of beer releases, fresh hops, Oktoberfest events, and collaborations! It's the 7th annual Northbank Beer Week - a celebration that reinvented itself with virtual and socially distanced events to persist through Covid and remain annual despite many challenges. It's that grit and determination that Northbank Brewers pride themselves on to rise to the occasion. Northbank Beer Week runs September 8th through the 17th.
Tonight at 5PM the festivities kick off at the official Kickoff Party at 3Peak Public House and Taproom in Ridgefield, WA. 200 Free T-shirts will be handed out to the first folks who show up and snag one in their size while beers from 20+ Northbank Breweries flow from the taps of 3Peaks and the supplemental draft trucks (provided by Kendall's Pioneer Distribution) out on the expansive patio.
Throughout the week, events range from beer releases to beer can derby races. The calendar features a night if ice cream beer floats at Ben's Bottle Shop and a week-long sour fest at Heathen Brewing. These are just some of the things beer nerds have to look forward to. The full rundown of events is at www.NorthbankBeerWeek.com.
Northbank Beer Week closes on it's marquee event - Brewing Bridges Collaboration Fest on September 17th. The all-you-can-drink-responsibly festival features a 0-tokens model not normally found in WA or OR States. Guests pay one price to attend and enjoy 20+ collaborations from SW Washington breweries who have collaborated outside of the region with Oregon, Washington and Idaho brewers. $49 is an all-access pass to exciting first-ever collabs from folks like Fort George + Heathen, Vice Beer + Great Notion, Grains of Wrath + Living Haus, 54-40 + Gigantic, Fortside + Buoy, and many, many more! Tickets for the closeout event of Northbank Beer Week are at www.NorthbankBeerWeek.com! Only 500 tickets will be made available and only 200 remain as of this publication.
