GoodLife Brewing’s 2023 Beer Release Calendar

GoodLife Brewing Company turned 10 years old in 2021, the Bend, Oregon brewery is excited to announce some of their new beers going into the next decade in their 2023 Beer Calendar. This calendar features the release of a new Premium American Lager called High Altitude, the availability of their popular BeachLife POG Pale Ale year-round, and an expansion of their 12-pack case offerings to include Comatose Imperial IPA and High Altitude 12 packs, to their BackPack MixPack Variety 12 Pack.

This year also includes expanded distribution plans in multiple states that have already begun in Northern California with a new wholesale partnership with Blach Beverages of Redding, CA.  As well as a recent realignment of distribution in the entire state of Washington to Columbia Distributing that was effective January 1st

BeachLife POG Pale Ale

BeachLife POG Pale Ale is a tropical twist on a classic Pale Ale. Brewed with Amarillo, Cascade, and Idaho 7 hops, these fruit-forward aroma hops, and a moderate dose of POG (Passionfruit, Orange, and Guava) lend to this very drinkable fruit-forward POG Pale Ale! The first sip will have you living your beach life and take you to the islands with your toes in the sand. BeachLife has been a favorite among local enthusiasts ever since being voted People Choice at the Bend Brewfest with our first seasonal release of BeachLife Pineapple, then we followed it up with BeachLife Mango the following year, and then with the addition of last year's seasonal POG (Passion, Orange, Guava) they are now thrilled to make this beer available year-round in 2023 for everyone to enjoy.

High Altitude Premium American Lager

High Altitude is a crisp and refreshing lager that is perfect for any occasion. This new beer is a classic Premium American Lager, crafted with northwest-grown hops, premium barley, and crisp, clean Cascade Mountain water. Head Brewer Andrew Caramagno said, "High Altitude is a quintessential easy-drinking lager that goes with just about anything - it’s the type of beer your grandad used to drink while fixing up that ol’ beater in the garage, after a long lawn mowing session or rooting on his favorite team on Sundays. This highly approachable, yet flavorful lager makes it easy to enjoy but by no means sacrifices on flavor. This beer is brewed using old and new school techniques and raw materials giving you the best bang for your buck while simultaneously giving you maximum flavor, body, and aroma. This is the beer those macro breweries don’t want you to know about."

The beer is made with Premium American Pilsner Malt and American-grown Saaz Hops. With a humbling amount of Rice and Water from the Highest Glaciers in the Central Oregon Cascades, this beer drinks light and refreshing. High Altitude is NOW available on draft, and in 12 oz can 12-packs starting in late February.

Comatose Imperial IPA

Comatose Imperial IPA has been a long-time crowd favorite at GoodLife Brewing Company. Comatose started as a seasonal draft exclusive brand before moving itself to a core brand in 2017. The brewery saw a huge push in package sales for this high-ABV treat during the pandemic, and figured with the current state of the economy, everyone could use just a little more of this easy drinking 8.5% Imperial IPA. GoodLife is excited to announce that this brand will be their 3rd 12-pack offering expected to hit shelves the beginning of March 2023.

Comatose Imperial IPA is a blend of bright fruit and melon with big notes of Meyer lemon on the nose. Medium levels of bitterness along with the heat from the higher alcohol content let the beer marry well as you analyze the flavor. A very easy-drinking Imperial IPA that will leave you reaching for another can.
