Kosher-certified Leikam Brewing celebrates 10 Years of beer and community
Oregon’s only Kosher-certified beer is right here in Portland, and celebrating a decade of beer and community.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Sonia Marie Leikam and Theo Leikam, Leikam Brewing has grown from a small, home-based operation into a beloved brewery known for its quality beers and community events at their 5812 E Burnside St, Portland, OR 97215 location. Leikam Brewing's success is deeply rooted in the support of the local community. From collaborating with local businesses to hosting events that bring people together, Leikam Brewing has always prioritized community engagement and giving back. The 10th anniversary celebration is not just a milestone for the brewery but a testament to the strong relationships forged over the years.

Anniversary Celebration
To commemorate this special occasion, Leikam Brewing will be celebrating on Friday, August 9, 2024 with a community Shabbat Happy Hour gathering at 5:30pm and all day Saturday, August 10, 2024, at their brewery located at 5812 E Burnside St, Portland, OR. The festivities Saturday will include:
5K Run with Oregon Brewery Running Series: Register in advance for this 5K run which kicks off at 10am
Special Beer Releases: New beers crafted exclusively for the anniversary
Live Music: Local bands will perform from 3pm-7pm
Family-Friendly Activities: Games and activities for all ages to enjoy all afternoon and cake at 4pm.
Comedy Night with Sorry, Not Sorry: Free show for folks 21+ with doors at 7:30pm and show at 8:00pm
There will also be the opportunity to support 3 local nonprofit organizations by purchasing special raffle tickets for prizes.
Leikam Brewing is a family and woman-owned brewery known for its commitment to quality, community, and sustainability. Established in 2014, Leikam Brewing is a certified kosher, and family-operated 5BBL brewery. Their journey began in the backyard of their Southeast Portland home, and has evolved into production at the Burnside Taproom located at 5812 East Burnside in late 2021.
