Leikam Brewing celebrates 11th Anniversary
Oregon’s only Kosher-certified brewery is turning 11. Leikam Brewing is the Portland, Oregon brewpub founded by husband-and-wife team Sonia Marie Leikam and Theo Leikam. Leikam Brewing has grown from a small, home-based operation into a neighborhood community oriented brewery known for its quality beers and community events. The 11th anniversary celebration is not just a milestone for the brewery but a testament to the strong relationships forged over the years. Known for its creativity and community spirit, the Leikam team is throwing a cat-themed bash in honor of their resident brewery cat, Puck, to thank customers, staff, and partners who’ve made the past eleven years paws-itively unforgettable. From playful decor and kitty-inspired cocktails to special beer releases and whisker-worthy giveaways, the celebration promises fun for all, feline or not.

Anniversary Celebration
To commemorate this special occasion, Leikam Brewing will be celebrating on Saturday, August 9, 2024 at their brewery located at 5812 E Burnside St, Portland, OR. The festivities Saturday will include:
Special Beer Releases & Merch: New beers and merch crafted exclusively for the anniversary including a special release in honor of our resident brewery cat, Puck’s Pils. $1 per Puck Pils Pint will be donated to the Pixie Project (https://www.pixieproject.org/).
Brews & Mews: A creative afternoon of painting your own miniature cat with local artist Lauren Mendez from 4-6pm for all ages. To guarantee a spot, purchase your ticket in advance. Day of walk-ins are welcome as space permits.

DIY Cat toy making station: DIY a toy to take home to your fur baby or make one to donate to the kitties at Pixie Project
Cat Costume Contest: Come dressed as a cat or in your favorite cat themed apparel to be entered in our costume contest.
Cat Drawing Contest: Get creative and draw your favorite cat. Prizes will be given out for “Funniest Cat,” “Cutest Cat,” and ” Puck look alike”
