Beergarden and Tap & Growler IPA Bracket Challenge Blind Taste Off featuring Haze Craze

Beergarden and Tap & Growler in Eugene will host their 3rd annual  IPA Bracket Challenge Blind Taste Off, this year featuring “Best Hazy IPA” at the same time as the NCAA Men's Basketball Tourney. Each location will host 8 fresh, hazy IPAs from the region, hand selected by teams comprised of their staff members. Each flight will come with the opportunity to vote on which brews move on to the next stage.More from a press release:The first week will consist of 4 separate blind tastings from each corner of the bracket. Two taster trays will be available at each location the first week, each tray is hand selected by one Beer-tender-team. The top two beers from each tray will move onto the second week, featuring one flight of four hazy IPAs at each location. Week three brings the top two beers from each location to BOTH Beergarden and Tap & Growler, making the same final four showdown at each pub. There will be three prize baskets for the winners of each of these bracket contests.All taster trays are randomized and blinded. The selection criteria for the IPAs were fresh (hazy IPAs need to be served as fresh as possible), between 6-8% ABV, and highly rated or staff favorites.The Hazy IPAs, teams and flight entries are:
